The primary martial art taught is the Filipino art of Serrada Escrima.
Primarily taught to adults, but with  parental guidance I teach Serrada to
children age 13 and above.

The dynamic fighting style known as Serrada Escrima is the creation of
the late Grandmaster Angel Cabales.
The Cabales Serrada system stems from De Cuerdes, an art originated by
Felicissimo Dizon.  Serrada restructures the complex concepts of De
Cuerdes into an organized teaching methodology.
Serrada Escrima encompasses twelve angles from which any attack can
be classified.  The countering actions to these attack angles are based on
movements that utilize the short stick(22-24 inches).  After one year of
consistent training, a student can feel confident in possessing a
foundation that will protect him/herself in most self-defense situations.

From day one, students are drilled in following up attacks and eliminating
their opponents offensive tools.  In a sense, there are no strict forms of
Serrada, only application drills.  From Serrada's basic foundation, a
student can quickly counter and overcome a multitude of weapons, open
hand attacks, as well as kicking and grappling techniques.

Additionally taught are the arts of Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido.
Instruction is available in these arts for children 6 years and older.  Adult
instruction is also available.

Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido are Korean arts of self defense with a rich
history.  Both of these arts can be devastating all in of themselves.
However, when combined they will give anyone a tremendous edge in
tournament competition, or in self defense situations.
